THE ACTING AND PLAYWRIGHTING WORKSHOPS
I instituted two workshop wheb I started when I started NFT. These workshops continue to be an integral part of NFT..
My artistic tenure at NFT will end in 2025. NFT has produced under AEA's jurisdiction for all of its 48 years, from AEA Showcase to LOA, to its current Transition. It is one of the few remaining black theatres in New York City: Black Spectrum Theatre, Billie Holiday Theatre, New Heritage, Negro Ensemble Company and National Black Theatre, I've introduced more African American playwrights than any existing theatre producer in New York City. Now, I plan an artistic "rethink" of some
of NFT's By Laws, those that focus on Lectures, Conferences, Reading of Poetry, Plays, and Fiction, and the showing of Films about African American Artists..
