New Federal Theatre Playwriting Program

Our program welcomes playwrights at all stages of their development, including more advanced playwrights whose work has been supported through workshops, readings, productions, and other development opportunities.

For playwrights with MFAs, published work, or significant production experience, we also offer lab opportunities to develop new work when the structure and goals of the lab align with their artistic journey.
