Acting & Playwriting Presentations
All Acting and Playwriting classes culminate in an annual showcase featuring student performances and new writing for industry professionals—including agents, casting directors, and managers—as well as the general public. The showcase provides students with a professional platform to present alongside peers, make meaningful industry connections, and gain experience engaging with an audience beyond the classroom.
Playwriting
Every writer’s work will be shared publicly as part of the year-end showcase. Selected plays may also be featured in NFT’s reading series of new work, presented alongside invited playwrights and brought to life by professional actors.
Acting
Students will present monologues and scenes developed and rehearsed throughout the year, giving them the opportunity to perform in front of an audience and industry professionals in a professional showcase setting.
